A Slow Start

So I picked up the clothes and stuff on Friday. I get all these boxes. I throw all the boxes in my mom’s car. I’m so excited to rock the world with positivity and then I start to open the boxes around 5:30 last night. Some boxes opened full of perfection, love and joy. Other boxes were full of problems which totally bummed me out because I was so excited. When what you ordered doesn’t come out right it hurts. But it’s ok. I’m gonna talk to them monday and get the following fixed:

1. The design for the No Worries shirts was not the right color so I’m going to take these back and have them remade.

2. The Positively Optomistic guys shirt was printed on the american apparel asphalt color. It was supposed to be HEATHER GREY!!!! Going to have those remade.

3. I got tags screen printed on b/c I thought It’d be a great idea. The tags look cool, they really do. But….they cut out the tags of the shirts and some of the cutting it is real shoddy. Which means…I will go through all the shirts and try to recut what was done poorly.

Lessons Learned:

Nothing goes 100% according to plan. Sometimes you ask for what you want and get just what you need. It’s all going to work out. Ain’t no time to bog down in the negative.

Getting Started

Everything takes time.

I’ve realized that with any project I’ve done in my life. But man starting a business is crazy. I love the art part. But then there are all the other details where you can ‘get weeded’.  For instance, setting up a company requires registration through the state secretary, obtaining a federal tax Id, and setting up a bank account. Building the website takes time. Choosing the right t-shirts for women takes forever! Lol. All I know is that girls as well as myself prefer soft, comfortable fabric.

Inspire Others

Inspire Others

That’s the reason I paint. That’s why I wake up excited every day. I want to inspire you and everyone else because life is about living your dream. 4 One Love is about spreading positivity and empowerment. It’s about being happy and making the world a better place. If you are what you eat, then you are what you wear. Wear art. Inspire. Create. Elevate. Appreciate.

Cheers to you all,

Matthew Weintrub
